Veterans make up the first half. Parallels for these include Red Limited (1:2 packs), Gold Limited (/99) and Black Limited (1/1). One hundred rookies are featured in the extensive Future Watch subset, all of which are numbered to 999. While the exact composition isn’t yet known, the vast majority of these are also autographed. Unsigned parallels line up with vets. There are also additional Green (/199) versions. Further upgrades for base cards include Limited Autographs (1:60 packs) and Limited Auto Materials (/100 or less) for stars. Future Watch Auto Patch (/100) cards are also available with their own additional Black (1/1) parallels. Additional Autographs Future Watch RCs are far from the only autographs on the 2023-24 SP Authentic Hockey checklist. Sign of the Times (1:32 packs), a perennial favorite since the 1990s, is back. Dual (/25), triple (/15), quad (/10), six (/6) and eight (/5) signature versions are also part of the product. First-year players are part of the adjacent Sign of the Times Rookies (1:864 packs) lineup. Chirography (1:160 packs), numbered Curated Signatures, Marks of Distinction (/25), UD Authentics Autographs (1:60 packs) and UD Authentics Auto Patch (/49 or less) are all back as well. For those looking for a throwback kick, there are nods to 2003-04 Future Watch Autographs (/399 or less) and Sign of the Times (1:120 packs). Skipping ahead a decade are 2013-14 Retro Future Watch Autographs (/699 or less) and Future Watch Auto Patch (/100 or less). These all use the original designs with current players. New to 2023-24 SP Authentic Hockey are Lectern Legends Signatures (/15). More Inserts Autographs aren’t the only inserts on the checklist. A handful of other themes, some new and some old, are available as well. Evolve (1:5 packs) is one of the debuts. These use multiple images showing a player at different points in their careers. Parallels include Blue (1:24 packs) and Green (1:120 packs). Select cards also have signed versions (1:480 packs). Freshman Focus (1:3 packs) is also new. Like Evolve, Blue (1:12 packs) and Green (1:60 packs) versions can also be pulled. Other 2023-24 SP Authentic Hockey inserts include Collaborations (1:5 packs), Pageantry (1:3 packs), Holofoils (1:80 packs) and Future Icons (/399). 2023-24 SP Authentic Hockey Bounty The product does have a Bounty program as well. Those who build the entire 91-card Spectrum FX set are eligible for exclusives not available in packs. It starts with a nine-card Bounty Award set that takes the complete checklist up to 100 cards. All who register all 91 in-pack cards receive one. The first 50 people to complete the Bounty also receive a 100-card Gold Spectrum FX set. Spectrum FX inserts have tiered rarity.
