Item up for sale is a ridiculously charming antique hand crank butter churn made by the Dazey Churn Mfg. Company with a model number of 40 made to hold 4 quarts. This piece has a glass jar base with wooden paddle, wooden handle and metal cap and gears. The crank and paddles turn perfectly as designed. Wooden paddles show some soiling / dust from age with patina / discoloration from use with no cracks or breaks we can see. Glass needs only a light cleaning with no chips, cracks or breaks and metal hardware / lid shows paint and finish wear / loss with age appropriate patina throughout. Handle is wooden and shows no cracks or breaks with only age appropriate patina present. Item stands 14″ top to bottom by 8-3/4″ across the widest point (including crank handle) by 6″ in depth at the base. Phenomenal original piece that comes fresh to the market.
